About Scandinavian Scuuba Doo

Our first dive center opened 2004 at Kata Beach this is also our head office, our second dive center opened 2006, is located at Karon Beach. Both dive centers offer a full range of day trip destinations, all levels of PADI Courses, Live aboard Trips.

Scandinavian Scuuba Doo Kata Center also provides a high standard equipment room for rental equipment; since we provide the latest in rental sets we display all equipment in an air-conditioned show room. This is also where our guests keep their private equipment; you don’t want wet equipment in the hotel room.

Scandinavian Scuuba Doo Karon Center is located in the plaza opposite Orchid Resort; at the Karon Center we also offer full range of dive and snorkel equipment from the worlds leading manufacturers at very competitive prices. Scandinavian Scuuba Doo Guest House above the Kata facilities we have our own guest house, with 8 air-conditioned rooms, hot showers and cable TV. It is simple but nice and clean and in the center of everything; only a 5-7 minute walk to either Kata’s or Karon’s white sandy beaches or a 2 minute walk to restaurants, bars, banks and shopping.  more details »

Scuuba Doo Day Trip Boat "EBBA"

Chock SomBoon 11 or "Ebba" after the owner’s grand daughter, is a purpose built dive vessel. We bought her in April 2007 and after a major rebuild she did her first trip on July 2, 2007, she has certainly shown to live up to all expectations. After yet one more major rebuild May to August 2008 you will find her even more convenient, one more rest room, even better and CC-TV surveyed dive deck for increased safety. With no more than 30 divers (including diving staff) you will find plenty of space, during breakfast, lunch and on the dive deck.
